Nguroje is a small town that is suited under Sardauna Local Government of Taraba State. It is comprise of both Muslim, Fulani and Christians people's that share their common interests when it comes to culture and tradition which Is what make the town to be so unique despise their religious difference.
As at yesterday been Monday 24 January, 2022 was the first time ever of me seeing the people of Nguroje celebrating a culture which was done in a massive way, slot of people came from different part of the state to witness the culture of the corrination of a king and those that was given a chieftaincy titled.
In Nguroje town whenever a person is been giving a chieftaincy title, it is the culture of the people to celebrate it and which was what happened on Monday that I visited the the town. On my arrival at the cultural center I saw a large crowd of people dancing and singing and doing some magic like putting fire inside their mouths, standing until of a horse and many more.
While o was at the cultural center I saw some people buying and selling things like orange, sugarcane, etc at the event center. The culture brought a lot of people's that aren't from Nguroje to watch and participate in dancing and singing,that was organised by the emir of Nguroje zone. I really I enjoyed the time that I spent watching most of the activities that was carried out at the cultural center, it was at the cultural center that I saw people carrying fire on their head although no one was allow to take a photo of what was going on at that particular moment when their were carrying fire in their head. This is the reason why it is said that culture is the total way of life of a society, nation, community and many more that you can think of.
Even us as an individually do have a culture that we believe on. So how is the culture of your place like?
