TREAT PEOPLE FOR WHO THEY TRULY ARE,AND NOT FOR WHAT YOU THINK THEY ARE. (My little experience).

I was in a salon sometime past,on a Saturday precisely to arrange my haircut,so I could just look good as usual 😌,which during my little time spent there something fascinating happened that got me bamboozled, even though I've had such similar experiences often but hardly talks about it.

To begin, while it was my turn and I was being attended to,by my barber; one man came in and was talking a whole lot of disgusting stuffs, particularly and emphatically on fornication. So after a long talk,I had been silently listening as a gentle man that I am.

Then, the barber now diverted the conversation a little kind of,and asked him if He knew or have heard of the YATEGHTEGHs(our family's surname 😊),which He nodded in response, then, the barber further asked if He also knew one of us whom by God's grace is an ordained Catholic Priest! And again He said 'YES!' then again he(the barber) casually told him 'I am the priest' and that I've come around to visit my family in Makurdi and also our home parish "St. Gabriel's, Gyado Villa". (And it's my elder brother @faeren that is a priest not me). Immediately the guy in question started acting so funny 😅 and panicking as though he has sinned live before God! He started trying to explain himself and being sorry and remorseful to me for all he had said, which I still remained silent. He went further blaming the Barber to have not told him earlier twas a priest that has been in the barber shop,by then,I was already being given a special treatment and also was offered to be paid for my haircut (I rejected the offer anyway),etc. And finally when I finished barbing I whispered to the barber to tell this guy the truth which He did and I was on my way out already. I however added, and said "bro, pls avoid such deeds and rather learn to speak/act rightfully" and I headed home immediately without saying a word further.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ. May we pls,try not to be a victim of circumstance by our words and actions, perhaps hypocrisy, but rather strife to live life as we ought to, and not doing the otherwise.

Lol... I like the reaction you gave. Normally, people just run their mouths even when they don't mean what they say. They do it because they want to prove a point when in essence there is actually no point to prove.

Imagine what would have been the case if that moment was judgement day.
