Macrophotography - Brown Grasshopper

in r2cornell •  11 months ago

Hi everybody

This time I will show some pictures of insects that we usually call grasshoppers. Small grasshoppers are interesting animals because their colors are very diverse and we rarely see them have the same color. Although grasshoppers are generally green, they still have differences in their wings or legs. On this occasion I will again share some photos of grasshoppers that I found on bush plants.

This insect has two antennae. The main function of the antennae in insects is as a sensor, while the other antenna functions in insects are recipients of physical stimuli, smell, temperature, humidity, sound, and play an important role in the insect mating process. The antennae on male insects are generally more complicated and complicated than the antennae of female insects. Antennas can also be used as taxonomic features in insect identification because they vary in size and shape.

Here I will show some grasshoppers that are brown.
