You don't need to be endowed with fame and luck to make a difference in this world! It may have been the case in the past centuries. Until the 21st century, our world has seen a phenomenal leap in all aspects of humane commitment. Many people come to disasters or tragedies around the world. The success of a legitimate charity comes from people who give time and money to a rewarding cause.

Today, there is a cosmic awareness of what is happening in our world. Thanks to technology, information is disseminated in seconds. Some social networks hold the world's pulse by beating 24/7. Each notable event goes viral in seconds. In times of misfortune, the world reacts with exemplary generosity.

They assemble groups to cleanse the environment. Thanks to the family and the community that supports them, some children have turned to the less fortunate children in developing countries and illuminated their world.

There are families and friends whose ties are based on a less fortunate situation: illness, inevitable disasters, or the loss of a loved one or financial ruin. These represent unusually challenging times when a compassionate shoulder to cry is welcome and comforting. There aren't enough words to express compassion when a tragedy occurs, but contacting someone just because I'm there proves frequently. Sporadically it can establish a substantial difference to merely be an excellent listener.

No matter how strong a person is, there is always a tenuous link that occurs when needed. A family member or friend can make a difference at times like this. Pain, loss, or illness in any form leaves a vulnerable, emotional, withdrawn, angry, and even confused. There aren't enough words of comfort that anyone can offer, but a gift of time and compassion can be more reassuring than ever on their own.

A feature on some news channels highlights an all-day hero. That is worthy. There are men, women, and children who make a difference in many convenient ways. It's no longer the exclusive privilege of the rich, celebrities, and philanthropists.

It provides us all the opportunity to make a difference and achieve.

I totally agree with your post. Lending a helping hand when people around you need it, goes a long way.. Lots of people are going through depression, having thoughts of suicide.. All the need is someone to talk to and help them through it. Sometimes, it's not even about helping out with money or other material things. Just listening to someone's worries and giving them a shoulder to cry on goes a long way. And you don't have to have it all to do that
