Today was Champion League day luckily, as it was raining and I had to stay home anyway. Unfortunately my cable provider has only two channels that pass these games so I watched the two early ones Malmo-Chelsea and Wolfsburg-Salzburg, and later Dynamo Kiev-Barcelona and Bayern Munich-Benfica, changing between channels.
This is kind of lousy for me as I would have preferred too watch Sevilla-Lille or Atalanta-Manchester United. I mean the Bayern result is predictable and who wants to watch Barcelona playing in Kiev?
I was surprised by how Malmo tried to get something out of a game against a much better team, they put all they had in it but in the end Chelsea still won. At this level it is mostly easy to say who will win there are some eight teams that constantly get to the quarter finals which is where the really good sides shine.
Tomorrow we have more games, I am looking forward to Liverpool-Atletico de Madrid.
