A gripping movie with a time loop that keeps rewinding itself (Hurok-2016)

One's attempt to kill oneself can be interpreted as suicide, but the reality is not like that at all. Same body, same mind, same person, but when it's more than one person and they meet at the same time, it gets complicated...

...And the attempt of these people (the same person) to kill each other is an attempt to commit murder rather than suicide. A seemingly simple crime story turns into a complex structure when it enters a time loop and becomes repetitive. Complex structures are like puzzles looking for answers. When each puzzle piece is placed correctly, the main story emerges.

I am more inclined to watch movies that are complex and need to be solved like puzzles, both for the mystery they contain and for their immersion. When you read the plot, you are not easily aware of the existence of such movies, because you have to watch them in order for the queries in the content of the movie to be revealed and for you to be aware of it.

Hurok, a 2016 Hungarian production, is a simple crime movie with a time loop that keeps repeating itself, creating mysteries and puzzle pieces waiting to be placed. Except for the beginning scenes, the movie offers a good viewing experience and its biggest advantage is that it is gripping with its puzzle structure that needs to be solved.

The character of Adam (played by Denes Szaras), who starts the time loop every time he dies, did justice to his role as the main actor of the movie and the puzzle pieces in its story. The sci-fi and puzzle pieces that follow the mysterious scenes give the movie a very different atmosphere and thus increase the viewing pleasure.

I would like to advise those who are going to watch the movie to be patient and watch it carefully. The movie is definitely one of those brain-burning productions and I can guarantee that it is well worth the time spent. There are no disturbing scenes, but it is still very important to watch it alone for a better understanding of the movie.

I liked the movie very much for its ability to search for answers to the questions it raises within itself. Despite the time loop repeating and rewinding over and over again, it keeps the time flowing quickly. It does not get boring with its immersive feature, I definitely recommend you to watch the movie. I wish everyone who will watch it a good watch in advance.
