not every step leads where we aim
sometimes we’re misled
no one holds all the answers
no one’s right all the way
we will learn to navigate
this long winding road
we called life with
uncertainty unfolding
we stumble through decisions
with mostly pre-selected option
in what we called choice
not every move brings victory
sometimes we face defeat
but defeat holds wisdom
a humbling truth once and for all
we can’t all claim the prize
perfection’s dream fade
replaced by the flawed reality
finding strength in the worse of time
growing wiser in life’s race
