The above words are from Martin Niemöller (1892–1984) who was a prominent Lutheran pastor in Germany. He emerged as an outspoken public foe of Adolf Hitler and spent the last seven years of Nazi rule in concentration camps. He is perhaps best remembered for his postwar words as quoted above.
On the blurt blog we have pledged to promote the universal brotherhood of man at this crucial moment when our collective humanity is put to the test by the massive Russian Occupation of Ukraine. In other to vindicate ourselves from the verdict of posterity, we will not keep quiet, so that the lives of our fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters in Ukraine would not be reduced to mere parts, disintergrated by missiles and bombs, that cannot be put together again.
Listening to the speech by the Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, my heart pondered on the meaning of life if a man can destroy his own kind with no qualms of conscience. Indeed, Zelenskyy is my hero and this is what Blurt is all about.
Let the people speak up,
Let Russian citizens speak out,
Let the world speak out,
Let blurtans speak out,
In this way humanity will be saved.

Superpower Nations have the habit to teach their way of democracy all around the world. It has happened so many times since the beginning of the 21st century. I would like to ask for caution from everyone living in the region. Civilians should not get caught in the crossfire so evacuation is the best option.

I love it when you speak in the name of humanity. We all have to convey the message of peace starting from our families, our neighbors, our environment, and to all of humanity.
I once lived in a conflict area, there was no peace in it, many victims were ordinary people.
