Merry Christmas, almost!!

Perhaps the best Yuletide decoration is being wreathed in smiles!! As the Holiday Season is on top of me, I find myself reflecting on the past year and some of the sad things- like burying my brother but soothed by the birth of my beautiful niece. I value my friends and look forward to seeing many of you in the year to come. May you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in a world filled with peace and prosperity!

I just love the kinder hearts of people at this time of year. Who can resist the glitz, the glitter, the twinkle, especially in the eyes of children? It the most beautiful time of the year. Even this year, it warmer my heart to see it still happening.

This year has been a huge challenge in so many ways. I cannot let these things impact me to the point of being depressed by it all. I have a home, heat, food, and a job. I have not gotten COVID. For this, I can only be grateful and try to put it all in perspective. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I will never take life or health for granted again. How could anyone? After living like this, if the world doesn't come together and work towards a common goal, I will have no respect for them.

Life is so short and terribly miserable to live hand to mouth like this, especially knowing there are people out there that suffered from no food, job, and no way out of their situation.

My best thoughts are to unwrap your day with a twist of holiday magic. Embrace all that is shiny and bright with the day and share it with others around you. Something incredible may just unfold before you. If it does, grab onto it with all your might and pull it towards you. I wish only good things for all of you.
