Travelling back to my Hometown after few weeks.

Hello, my friends.

After several busy weeks, I got the time to travel to my hometown yesterday. From my university, there is about 130 km to my hometown. I can usually follow two different routes. The first route is through Avissawella, which is the main road. This route is the A4 route which is also known as the "high-level route". This route is always busy except at night and early morning. So without the traffic, It would take 3 hours and 40 minutes for the journey.

Then there is the alternative route, via Rathnapura - Ingiriya road. This route is not as good as the high-level and consists of many bends. But if we follow this route, from Rathnapura we will not have much traffic. Therefore I can reach my hometown within 3 and half hours even with the usual traffic.

This time period we have some issues with having transport with our personal vehicles due to the economic crisis. We, therefore, share rides most of the time. Yesterday also I travelled with my professor and two others.

It was raining all the time once we started the Journey. And darkness captured the surrounding really fast, so I couldn't properly see the scenic places along the road. But I captured the dying sun for one last moment for the day.
