I have been seeing these trendy and expensive Stanley Cups with the Babylonian symbolism lately and it makes me sick.
It's a waste of money and it's another status symbol. What makes someone purchase these overpriced water cups and Thermos? What you possess you to buy expensive name brand status symbol water cups?
Why did water thermos become status symbols? Is it because inflation made buying traditional status symbols impossible? Have interest rates made the Stanley cup the new Lexus?
Someone make it make sense.
Stanley had More investments in advertisements of their product, than their competitors. That's a big factor in my books. When it's popular it only gets more popular till someo e new co.es along and the trend goes down. Give it a few minutes and watch the price drop.
Then, some people get what just works regardless of their logos and titles. Stanley is pretty good thermal cups. I had one myself before but I find a common cheap thermal to work just as satisfying and prefer it for its economic value. It's cheap, but it gets the job done to my standards. And that is good enough for me.
Let's say Stanley is always been the lexus but the question is how many people want a lexus, at this moment? And why, well, i said why above in the first paragraph. It's currenlty the intriguing thing, to those who are into being part of trends. Usually women.
I'm willing to bet its more women that are buying these Stanley cups. As gifts. V day is drawing near lol
