Hola amigos 😄 espero que estén muy bien. Yo soy Lelys 🙋 me da mucho gusto saludarlos. Faltando pocas horas, por este lado del mundo, para que finalice el año 2022 quise compartir con todos ustedes mis impresiones acerca de un material que compré hace algún tiempo y lo he venido usando quizá de la manera inadecuada. Permítanme contarles de qué se trata no sin antes desearles UN FELIZ Y PRÓSPERO AÑO 2023. BENDICIONES Y FELICIDAD PARA TODOS.

Lo que tengo en mi mano es la primera mini maceta que realizo con "masa flexible", una que compré muy económica hace algunos meses. Resulta amigos que yo he venido trabajándola de manera incorrecta. Es por ello que me quejo de su calidad. Realmente estaba equivocada, la "masa" no es mala, sino que no está hecha para usarla como yo quiero. Esta masa es más parecida a una pasta para moldear y hacer formas planas o aquellas que no ameriten flexibilidad, más bien cuando queremos hacer algo que quede firme y fuerte.

Las expertas en la elaboración de figuras con masa flexible me orientaron con respecto al uso que debo darle y me invitaron a realizar con ella macetas, porrones o jarrones tal cual como si se tratara de arcilla. Jamás he trabajado con arcilla, sin embargo he visto como se moldea. Por lo que tomé solo un poco de la masa y siguiendo las orientaciones de las amigas empecé a moldear.

Amasé y di forma cilíndrica para luego empezar a dar forma de maceta, después usando la tapa de un frasco de perfume realicé el hoyo para dar profundidad al envase. Me encantó hacer esto porque se me hizo cómodo trabajar la masa. Siempre me iba humedeciendo los dedos con aceite de bebé para mantener la humedad en la masa. No tomé las fotografías porque estaba apenas probando, pero al ver que el resultado fue satisfactorio entonces si tomé mi teléfono y capturé estas imágenes. Ya la maceta está en periodo de secado. Si Dios me lo permite en una próxima publicación les mostraré como se ve luego de culminada.

What I have in my hand is the first mini pot I made with "flexible dough", one I bought very inexpensively a few months ago. It turns out folks that I have been working it incorrectly. That is why I complain about its quality. Actually I was wrong, the "dough" is not bad, but it is not made to be used as I want it to be. This dough is more like a paste for molding and making flat shapes or those that do not require flexibility, rather when we want to make something that is firm and strong.

The experts in the elaboration of figures with flexible dough guided me with respect to the use that I should give it and invited me to make with it flowerpots, vases or jars just as if it were clay. I have never worked with clay, but I have seen how it is molded. So I took just a little bit of the dough and following my friends' instructions I started to mold it.

I kneaded and gave cylindrical shape and then I started to shape the pot, then using the lid of a perfume bottle I made the hole to give depth to the container. I loved doing this because it was comfortable to work the dough. I was always moistening my fingers with baby oil to keep the dough moist. I didn't take pictures because I was just testing, but when I saw that the result was satisfactory then I took my phone and captured these images. The pot is now in the drying period. God willing, in a future post I will show you how it looks after it is finished.
