Disclaimer: This is not a paid or any promotional post, this is what i have experienced over my 1 and half year journey of gym. I didn't started supplement at least three to four month since beginning of my journey, I depending on all natural sources like, nuts, raisins and fig.

I hope with this new year many people have targeted goal for fitness especially due to COVID and have joined Gym or any other physical activity classes to be upto par in the health. But during the workout the most neglected thing is the nutrition, that your body required to grow and work at its efficient level. And some people always have the chaos in mind whether to take supplement or not due to various myths around the internet.

First of all what come under supplement is, all the natural nutrients required by your body and can't be completed through food sources due to many factors. Nutrients like protein, carbs, vitamin, minerals & fats are the composition of those supplements. So when you find out its safe to take those supplements.

The next thing in mind is that there are too many supplement in the industry which one you should take that can give you sense of completeness at its best. Today we will look a comparison of various brands of vitamin and minerals available in the market and which i personally used during this journey.

1. Becadexamin (Multivitamin & Multimineral Capsule) by Glaxosmith

It was my first supplement in category of vitamin and mineral, as it was the cheapest option. Since i was not concerned at that time about these supplements a lot and workout was not that at intense level it was nearly one hour with maximum of leg press press or squat with 10kg plates(with help of some third person or with low rep range). I considered this only due to recommendation by trainer, as the leg day most of the time involved with nausea and vomiting. After taking a course of three - four month, i didn't feel any significant change in lifting heavier weight though other problem like vomiting and nausea was decreased.
The only good thing about this supplement is it was cheapest. Since it is already mentioned on the bottle that it is best for Therapeutic use, so it won't provide you good enough results in long run, and there is no RDA or ERA percentage specified on the bottle.

2. Naturyz Men's Sport Advanced Daily Multivitamin (55 Nutrients, Vitamins, Minerals, Amino acids, Enzymes, Antioxidants, Herbal Extracts) Link

As it has been nearly 8 to 9 month of the journey, i have started invested time in reading about supplements and vlogs on supplement posted by various Indian or foreign Athletes, and asking question to trainer about different nutrients. So this time i was looking for an option which could provide me all essentials nutrients with single pill with no side effects.
Reasons behind choosing this was:

  • The option i have in mind was Optimum Nutrition and Naturyz, since ON being international brand due to COVID the product was available of old date or unauthentic. So i decided to go with Indian brand.
  • All the essential nutrients are specified along with RDA percentage.
  • The other reason to choose this was the other blends being used in this was specified in exact amount, which i didn't see this for other brand.

For women they have different pack available which you can check https://www.naturyz.in/product/women-sports/
I have been using it since then and didn't find any side effects and have at least significant changes(leg press max of 30 kg*2 weight for a 10-12 repetition and squat at least 20kg *2)(period of four months at least, which may involve other nutrients as well).

All of the above information is based on only my personal experience, some of them may depends on individual.
