I knew from the word go that it was not going to be easy or a smooth ride but I kept on believing and trusting that I was going to make it and finally leave my environment and go to a new location and start my life afresh and have new friends and meet a totally different environment from the one I was used to for more than 25 years.
High cost of living
First off the city is very expensive compare to where I come from. In my country accommodation is cheap compared to London and this is because 70 percent of the people in my country are jobless and can’t even afford to feed themselves.
The least I have had a weather was 10 degrees
I have met -4 degrees here in London 😂😂😂. In Africa the weather goes as high as 36 degrees. Funny how most persons without air conditioners can’t sleep in their rooms during this period in Nigeria and we are having snow and ice.
I am very much active on blurt and won’t leave blurt. For those asking it is because I am yet to find my way around London and the daily schedule is always tight.
Welcome to London
