Hello Friends,
Today I'm going to share my travel experience about another interesting location I have visited. It's the second highest water fall in Sri Lanka , Diyaluma Falls which is 220 meters ( 710 ft) high. This is one of the easiest locations to watch as it's located right next to the main road. So anyone can easily enjoy the amazing view even from the vehicle window. It's just around 1 hour drive from Ella town.

To enjoy the beauty of this water fall you need to climb to the top of the waters fall. There you will find another water fall which is called " Upper Diyaluma Falls" or "Uda Diyaluma Waterfall". It's around 1.5 -2 hour hike to the top of the Diyaluma Falls and you can use a Tuk -Tuk or an scooter to climb up to some extent.

When you climb to the top you will find one of the best naturally existing infinity pools in the world. The top of the water fall is like a natural water park which is covered with dark forest. There are lot of natural pools where you can swim and lot of other mini water falls and streams. It's a fascinating view. But you have to be careful when bathing or swimming in these pools as water level can be increased in few minutes. This area is with a very wet and rainy environment. Heavy rains in upper areas will change the water level very fast. It's better to have a local guide with you.
