Lahore (Urdu Point Latest Newspaper. February 19, 2022) Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Afridi has shown great sportsmanship and allowed Islamabad United to change the team after the toss. According to sources, fast bowler Hassan Ali got injured after a toss between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United. Islamabad captain Asif Ali and Shaheen Shah Afridi agreed to change the merchant de lange for Hassan Ali in the Islamabad United squad as per Rule 1.2.1 of the PSL rules.
It may be recalled that in the 27th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Lahore Qalandars decided to bat first after winning the toss against Islamabad United.
Speaking on the occasion of the toss, Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Shah Afridi said that they will try to make a good score. Regarding the absence of Rashid Khan, captain Lahore Qalandars said that Rashid is the number one bowler, they will miss him.
Islamabad United captain Asif Ali said that they will try to stop the rival team on low score. Regarding his captaincy, he said that there is something to be learned from being a captain. It may be recalled that Lahore Qalandars had lost to Karachi Kings a day earlier.
