আর সাহিত্য যেহেতু একটি সুকুমার বৃত্তি সেহেতু পূর্ণ আত্মনিবেদন ও একাগ্রতা ছাড়া সাহিত্যের ভুবনে প্রতিষ্ঠা ও মর্যাদার আসন লাভ করা অসম্ভব।
পৃথিবীর যেকোন ভাষা ও সাহিত্যের ইতিহাসে যারা স্বনামধন্য হয়েছেন এবং অমরকীর্তি ও কর্মের স্বাক্ষর রেখেছেন, নিরলশ সাধনার মাধ্যমে তা সম্ভব হয়েছিল।
সাহিত্য হল চিন্তার বাহন। সাহিত্যের মাধ্যমে সূচিত হয় দেশ, সমাজ ও জাতি চিন্তাজগতের বিপ্লব ও পরিবর্তন। শুভ কল্যাণের দিকে, কিংবা অশুভ ও কল্যাণের দিকে। সুতরাং পরিপূর্ণ শিক্ষা, চর্চা ও সাধনের মাধ্যমে আমাদেরকে অর্জন করতে হবে সাহিত্যের অঙ্গনে সর্বোচ্চ সফলতা।
আমাদেরকে হতে হবে বাংলা ভাষার শক্তিশালী লেখক। দ্বীনের খেদমত ও সমাজ সংস্কারের ক্ষেত্রে কলমী হবে আমাদের শ্রেষ্ঠ মাধ্যম। প্রশ্ন হল কিভাবে আমরা সাহিত্য সাধনা করব? কিভাবে সফল লেখক হওয়া যায়? লেখা শিখতে হলে কি কি আমাদের করতে হবে?

দ্বিতীয় কর্তব্য হলো প্রতিদিন কোন না কোন বিষয়ে কিছু না কিছু লিখতে থাকা। ভুলে যেও না যে, কয়েকদিন বেশি পরিমাণ লেখা আছে প্রতিদিন অল্প পরিমাণ লেখা অনেক বেশী কার্যকর ও ফলপ্রসূ।
