Today I will talk about old age home,
Didn't know at first what is old age home?
We know that in general
The abode of old men and women is called old age home,
The unimaginable success of 21st century scientists has led to tremendous advances in medicine, which have led to tremendous changes in our quality of life, increasing the average life expectancy of our people,
And so the number of elderly people is increasing day by day, protecting the elderly has become a challenge for us.
The United Nations in Bangladesh has been asked to treat 60-65 year olds as elders and obedient,
And if we do this calculation, then 7.1 percent of the population of Bangladesh is elderly, and if it continues like this, in 2025-2028, its number will go up to 10.1 percent,
Most of the elders in our country live with their families and they have to take all the responsibility on their sons and daughters,
But if we look at the present society, we see that the number of joint families in the present society is decreasing day by day, and if we look at one thing, it is the lack of money which makes it impossible to see single family or joint family in our society.
And because of this change, our country's elderly parents are moving away from the people closest to them,
According to a survey, in our current society, 8-90 percent of the elderly sons and daughters live outside the country, they do not have much contact with their parents, and as a result, the elderly parents are increasingly different types of care, and they are given separate shelters. Which we know as an old age home,
If we think a little, we can see that this old age home has been opened mainly for the poor and helpless elderly people. Where they were given medical treatment, but the signature picture of the old age home is no longer seen. In our childhood, when our parents are so close to us, how crazy our parents are when they serve us. Without them, our lives would have been worthless.
The mother who used to put all her troubles aside and talk to her child with a smile, the best thing to do is to feed her child without eating herself, in today's society this old age home is the last address of the parents,
It's like an eternal mockery of our humanity,
If we think about 2 decades ago, there was such an old age in our society and people did not know about it.
But over time, that is likely to change.
Educated boys and girls nowadays don't keep their parents with them because they think their parents are a nuisance to them, and so they leave them in that old age home,
Sometimes they use such distances that they don't give them the right food or medicine and then they find a good place to stay.
Although many people do not lack money, they do not give any money or time to their parents, they do not have time to talk to them, we hear all these news all the time, it is seen that the letter written by the elderly parents is pressed.
A few days ago, a boy from Rangpur found his mother on the street and left.
These are us who take old parents and leave them in the old age home and neglect them, don't give them proper food Where they have never felt our burden, they have made all kinds of efforts to make us big.
How hard our people are keeping their bookbooks.
We will never be able to repay the debt of the mother, the mother is taking care of us till we understand when we give birth to our fetuses, we will never be able to repay her debt even if we save our life.
Think about it, they ask very little from us, they just want to spend some time happily with their grandchildren, our sons and daughters in their last years, we do not think at all that today I will grow old after some time.
This is the rule of the world and then where will my address be,
And so I don't think the old age home is the real deal for the elderly,
