Nature lovers and social media activists may be familiar with the Gunong Taleuk Savana which is located in Gampong Panteun Beunot, Tiro District, Pidie Regency.
The reason is, these hills which have extraordinary views, have now gone viral and have become a new tourist attraction that must be visited by tourists when they go to Pidie, especially natural scenery hunters.
The distance is not too far, around 30 kilometers from the center of Sigli city, it only takes 50-60 minutes for tracking, there you will be treated directly to views of the Savanna fields like mountains outside the country.
Taleuk is flanked directly by Mount Mersèu and Halimoen, Tangse, even though geographically it is in the Tiro area. Next to it, there is also a savanna field that is wider than Taleuk, namely Glee Sala. The view of Sala, when seen from Taleuk, is extraordinary, but the mountain is further away from Taleuk.
The route to Taleuk is also not dangerous, but we have to follow along Krueng Agam, up to the gate of the jungle, the Taleuk climbing route. Of course, from the city to the climbing entrance, you can use a two-wheeled motorbike, while you can't get there on four wheels. Talking about Savana Taleuk, no one doubts it anymore, you can take selfies from all angles, this location is a dream location for travelers and nature enthusiasts if they want to spend the weekend.
Below I share some of the moments when we headed to that place.
