Kerling fish is a freshwater fish with large scales similar to gourami. Kerling fish live in rocky rivers such as in the Lamno, Tangse and Geumpang River areas. Usually Kerling fish are bought alive from fishermen and stored in holding tanks so that the fish can last 3-5 days.
