Trump was trying to prevent the war while also threatening NATO allies to pick up their slack when it came to military funding and arms or else the United States would leave from the treaty. Looks like Donald Trump was right about that because European "powers" were too focused on public welfare and being politically correct (in some nations), instead of focusing on the very clear threat of Russia expanding its sphere of influence into Eastern Europe. Essentially, Europe screwed themselves over when it came to Ukraine, not only was Europe not prepared, even after the very clear threat of a Ukrainian-Russian war, but they laughed in Trumps Face when he even suggested that Europe was at the whim of Russian energy (like Germany). Trump wanted to expand US drilling on US soil but was pushed back by the Democrats and the "environmentalists" when we should have been trading more of our energy resources with our NATO allies, instead of them propping up Russia.
American Democrats did whatever they could to protect the Biden Crime Family and their involvement with the Ukrainian energy industry. Funny, the Democrats supported the pipelines in Qatar - Turkey - Ukraine but didn't want to support the expansion of the XL Keystone Pipeline that would have helped the United States and Canada further with the preexisting Keystone Pipeline.
The Hunter Biden laptop leaks was almost two years ago, and it was ignored by the manipulative mainstream press. The reason why Europe is going through this conflict in Eastern Europe is because of the failures and the smugness of European "Powers" who did not take Trump's warning seriously or value their military strength before and after Trump's time in the Whitehouse, and the total failures of the Obama/Biden administration when Crimea fell to the clutches of the Russian government.
People can hate Trump if they want to, but until Europe and Democrats here in America take responsibility for making our influence weak in Eastern Europe, then they will never learn from their mistakes. "Environmentalists" served as a catalyst to this thanks to their push for restricting the oil industry that led to the growth and power of Russia in Europe. Of course, Environmentalists will never learn because they have short-sighted views on international affairs.

Sorry man, but Europeans funded their own demise. America doesn't import Russian oil in amounts not nearly as much as Europe relies on them. Europeans made themselves dependent on Russian energy exports regarding oil and natural gas while Trump wanted to sell our oil to our allies when Democrats were trying to restrict our oil production. Trump tried to help Russia and Europe by ending the conflicts in the middle east to make sure Europe can help themselves, but they chose Russia over America, so they shot themselves in the foot.
