The Fulton surface-to-air recovery system (STARS) is a system used by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), United States Air Force and United States Navy for retrieving persons on the ground using aircraft such as the MC-130E Combat Talon I and Boeing B-17. It involves using an overall-type harness and a self-inflating balloon with an attached lift line.
The system was developed Robert Edison Fulton, Jr., for the CIA in the early 1950s, decomissioned in 1996.
PUBG: Battlegrounds (previously known as PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, or simply PUBG) is an online multiplayer battle royale game developed & published by PUBG Corporation (subsidiary of Bluehole). The game is based on previous mods, created by Brendan "PlayerUnknown" Greene for other games, inspired by the 2000 Japanese film Battle Royale, and expanded into a standalone game under Greene's creative direction. In the game, up to one hundred players parachute onto an island and scavenge for weapons and equipment to eliminate others while avoiding getting yeeted themselves. The available safe area of the game's map decreases in size over time, directing surviving players into tighter areas to force encounters. The last player or team standing wins the round.
