Self-Discipline is important

I have always believed that Self-Discipline is the base for our success in life. It looks a very small word but has some loads of things to follow and implement. Discipline of little things in life do matter and makes us what we are. It is the key to achieving our goals then be it whatever, may it be financial goals, family goals or work related goals. Just for e.g. if we want our day to be productive and finish off a,b,c task then for that the first thing we need is to be organized and to be organized we need to follow some discipline which will set things right, like setting a time to start and finish the work, not getting distracted by phone calls or spending time mindlessly on the phone, if we follow it we will be able to achieve the set task, but if we start off the day without any plan, and then not being committed to the task and wasting time mindlessly then or sure we will not be able to achieve the task.

If we see very successful people, we will observe one common pattern and that is self-discipline. To not get distracted by surroundings and things takes a lot of focus and determination. The Company that I have my HR project with, the CEO of the Company is the most undisciplined person that I have come across in my life. He has no fix time to come to work, not that he is busy with important things, it is because he cannot wake up early. When he comes to office, he hardly has his attention to work, most of the time he is on his phone on whatsapp. And then he keeps yelling at people when work does not get done. His Company runs in losses. But that's very obvious, if one does not follow any discipline and just randomly do things then this is what they will face.

Mindfulness and Awareness brings in Discipline in Life, if one goes out very vaguely without any kind of awareness then there is going to be chaos. Just like the CEO I mentioned, when things do not happen and you do not want to admit that it is because of your own lack of discipline you start throwing tantrums on others.
Building on better habits in life and breaking off shabby habits do make us organized and also make us feel in control of ourself. Self-Discipline brings in a lot of focus in whatever we are doing, it helps us to be in full attention on our task and achieve it and that's how we can get success in our goals. Self-discipline is not about being that perfect person, it is about bringing awareness in every activity and identify what action is beneficial and what is not. The even if our goals shift there will not be a problem.
