It is very common that people keep popping their opinion about us every now and then. Those can be positive and can be negative. But largely people experience negative opinions from others. Even the prophets were not spared in this case so then it is but obvious that our human minds function like that. We can see less positive in others and more of negative and based on that form our judgement, give our opinions.
People form opinions almost about everything, people, situation, events, whatever you say. If a sportsman perform very poorly in one game, people form opinion of him. In our office if we have goofed up on some work an opinion is formed about the way of working. If we have pleasant experience then we have positive opinions and if we have negative experience we have negative opinions and then there are some people who just go with their mindset. If they have a positive mindset they will see good in everyone and everything and if they have a negative mindset no matter however good you are they will find some flaw in you and give their negative opinion.

So the point is, this whole thing is externally driven just based on how it is perceived, so should it really matter to one what opinion an other person has for you. Other people opinion should only matter to us if we do not have clarity of our own actions. If we are clear with our actions, what others think of us becomes irrelevant.
Opinions fly and opinions change that does not mean we keep changing. we are the same it is only the thought process that keeps varying so if we have an absolute clarity of what we are doing we do not need to bother how it will be perceived. We do not have control over other people thoughts but we surely do have on our own, if we have self-love what others think of us will not matter. We can only sabotage ourselves if we surrender to these type of people who give out negative opinions. They perceive us as per their level of perception but that does not mean what they think of us is right.
As it is said opinions are like noses -- everyone has one. What you do with those opinions is entirely up to you.
