The First Day in Constructing our Breeding Pen

This was the first day in constructing the breeding pen. My brother-in-law is the only one who does carpentry and my nephew is his helper.
On the first day constructing the pen, anticipation and excitement filled the air as we laid out our plans and gathered our materials. They started by clearing the designated area and marking the perimeter.

With each post set into the ground, the shape of the pen began to emerge, taking form under the bright sun. The teamwork was evident as they measured, cut, and assembled the fencing, ensuring each piece fit snugly and securely. As the day progressed, the pen's structure grew taller and stronger, ready to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our livestock.

The other sides of the pen were dug up and the hollow blocks were filed so that when it rains, the water will not flood inside.

By day's end, we stood back to admire the progress, eager for the next steps in creating a space that would support our breeding goals and contribute to the health and well-being of our animals.
