How to Identify Whether You're a Procrastinator

in procrastination •  11 months ago

Everybody has a ton of daily tasks to complete. Regardless, the majority of us! The struggle to maintain a work-life balance is never-ending, and frequently, one must suffer at the expense of the other. What can I say, you know, that's the cost of growing up, am I right? All of us, however, have different strategies for handling the mountain of tasks we have to complete each and every day.

Some of us confront those head-on, while others do so grudgingly. People like me, on the other hand, prefer to put off doing those things until they are absolutely required. As accused, guilty

We are a unique bunch of individuals known as the procrastinators. No, we're not a group of superheroes trying to rescue the entire planet. Earth would be destroyed even if we were, and we would probably end up escaping it! In any case, continue reading to find out whether you are a procrastinator as well! Although it's likely that you already know, keep reading!

✴️ You are a procrastinator dear, if you put off performing all of these tasks until the very last minute. For example, you may have a ton of files to check at work, an article to write for your business, or a deadline to meet for a really important project. The problem is that a fatal virus has infected us. The lazy virus! And for some strange reason, we will wait until it is really required to finish these kinds of jobs and we have no other choice.

How could it be that we are occupied with such insignificant activities as staring at the ceiling or binge-watching television? It appears that the only thing that can motivate individuals such as ourselves to get off our asses and do something meaningful is urgency.

✴️ Most of the time, people who procrastinate never just say they don't want to do something. Instead, they would prefer to make up an excuse, which can occasionally be rather inventive.

The most popular one, which I discussed in the first point, is "I don't have to do it right now." Another popular one is "I don't know where to start!" and so the distractions start to take control.

Then there is one that is a little strange. A person who procrastinates would likely prefer to wait till 7 o'clock at night for the following reasons: You will now need to wait until 7:30 p.m. if, upon checking the clock, the time is 7:04 p.m. This is how things have to be!

You won't believe the reasons I've made up for not doing crucial things. They've included everything from "My hair doesn't look right" to "I have a tooth ache." Okay, so maybe not that final one, but you get the idea!
