It's my belief that everything entered into a digital device (every keystroke, click, mouse movement, tap, hover, pause, etc) is being recorded, analyzed, and forever connected to the human who did it. I'm a huge privacy advocate, but I've come to realize that nothing connected to the internet CAN have any privacy. It's just not possible. There are ways to get a little more privacy (temporarily) than others, and in some cases they are worth using. But we should never believe we aren't having all our conversations watched.
