In our society, there is a significant mistake regarding rights. Everyone tends to focus on their own rights without caring for the rights of others. This is especially true in the context of husband and wife relationships. The husband claims his rights, while the wife raises her voice for hers. If both parties shifted their focus from their own rights to the rights of one another, society would improve, and husbands and wives would live harmoniously.
Husband's Rights that the Wife Should Fulfill:
A wife should obey her husband in what is permissible. Allah says, "So good women are devoutly obedient." A righteous woman is one who is obedient to her husband and dutiful.
Wife's Rights that the Husband Should Fulfill:
A husband must treat his wife with kindness and ensure that they lead a good life together.
May Allah grant all husbands and wives the ability to love one another in accordance with the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah. Ameen.
