I don’t think so but he has a ton of VYB to sell in order to get his way… he has said many many times that he thinks the creators of VYBRAINIUM are complete idiots for removing the downvote button. Someone will get their way. A battle is brewing.

I don't mind steemit, I had seen all this back in 2017 so when everyone left I was overjoyed. I am sure Justin is no angel but he never personally did anything to me or anyone I know. I have never had a post flagged on there or never had any issues whatsoever. There is a lovely community called WOX that I post in. I mean most ppl left so hard to find English speaking posts but that community is lovely.
Yes. Everyone back on old Steemit is very friendly and kind… almost like Blurt. The only place I encounter really bitter people is on Hive, Leo and ProofofBrain
did Justin sun quit? wow I need to catch up on the news, I never ever had a downvote on steemit since those guys left. I knew what would happen but it was too early back then and no one believed me, now I think they do.
Yeah… Justin Sun stepped down / retired/ quit on Dec 17 2021 … he moved on. So Steemit is decentralized again. And no angry whale Downvoters on Steemit anymore. (The Downvoters all moved to Hive , Leo and ProofofBrain)

I literally never encountered any downvoters there at all once the small circle left. I am not saying that he's not bad but I never really had any experience with him or got any censorship there so I simply cannot comment. I wasn't really that active at the time it all kicked off as we had just had a super long crypto winter of a few years and I had to focus more on real world things, so I still don't really know the full story. On a personal level there was a huge sense of freedom for me when I went back on and saw it had lost a bunch of the worst people as I thought at least there is one platform where there is a sense of room to breathe. People at the time probably thought I was crazy for thinking like that but now they might get me a bit more. I mean even better though if he isn't running it. There is a nice community there called WOX they are lovely and I've felt very supported by them.
They only place I ever experienced Censorship (via downvotes, threats and Bullies) anywhere ever since I have been on the Internet is on Hive, Leo Finance and ProofofBrain…. I Never ever had any problems anywhere else ever …
same, I don't even get as many problems on fb, instagram and twitter although I did get a handful of bans on fb that has gone a bit crazy lately lol
I thought proof of brain was meant to be a bit better tbh I think it got infiltrated in some way as I noticed a few of the discord groups anti downvotes had the biggest downvoters in there as members, like what you were saying. I don't really trust any of them anymore, at some point they are all going to start fighting between themselves, mark my word.
