Punishment of the heretic on the cistern

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Masoud (may Allah be pleased with him).

The Prophet ﷺ said

I will be there before you at My reservoir and some of you will be brought before Me, then they will be removed from Me, then I will say: O my Lord! These are my companions (Immati) but it will be said to me that you (peace be upon him) do not know what new things (innovations) they had invented in religion after the death of him (peace be upon him).
