It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah Bahli (may Allah be pleased with him).
Two men were mentioned before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, one of them was a worshiper and the other was a scholar, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The superiority of a scholar over a worshiper is like my superiority over a common man among you. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Allah and His angels and those in the heavens and the earth, even the ants in their holes and the fishes pray for the one who teaches goodness and goodness.
