Regardless of how you want to frame political views on a spectrum, the fact remains taxes will be lower the farther to the right on that spectrum.
The politics is downstream from culture, I don't think anyone wants to pay taxes, they are just not aware of the skill set required for each individual trade required for large scale infrastructure projects.
The labor force is at times large, but when a large amount of people have a common interest, things like Manifest Destiny happen. Railroads are constructed by privately owned companies etc...
Some of the world's greatest structures were built in civilizations with laws and economies modern man couldn't relate to, your seriously shut in if you think taxes are mutually exclusive to common place and public style infrastructure.
Where there is a will, there is a way. All your taxes are willed to do, is pay a bunch of glorified secretaries to conduct socialism in your neighborhoods. Get these fat cats off your penny, and back to their families, they spend too much time away from them while kissing ass anyway.

Imagine , not paying tax ,. one can work 25 instead of over 40 hours a week .
Witch gives one the time to build on ones private existence ,
Like creating a solid base for relations and family to thrive on .
Keeping a food garden and building your own private property .
While having also the time to enjoy that .
Com'n people , Life was meant to be great , by paying taxes you give most of that comfort away to governments waging endless wars .
When people by zeitgeist can opt out from there birth given reproduction organs .
I at least must be able to opt out from the corrupted government systems .

One thing you will never hear a government talk about, NO TAX, they will tease you about loeering tax, but no government is going to remove taxes entirely without people voting them out.
No Tax means , no income , to a government payed and so owned employee .
Tax is the base of there entire existence , NO TAX no government .
Voting for no tax is still voting , and so acknowledge a governments existence by doing so .
Voting a government out will only replace the puppets , not the racket system they live of .
There is no way left to opt out from the corrupted government systems .
Unless you take a stand and point at there non existence , and so can not make a claim on you .
