Background
Microsoft was implied as the source for information collected, without the courts knowledge, about Project Veritas Journalists.
Microsoft is involved with a NDA layered information collection warrant. On top of this undisclosed information collection, spying in other words, the government mislead the court about what information was actually reviewed provided by Microsoft.
We all knew this was happening, now Project Veritas blew the lid off their secret warrant application process. This same technique was at one time used to take bitcoin private keys from a windows device.
We all know they use XKeyscore to key log windows devices, but now thanks to Project Veritas we know to what extent they will go to collect that information, as well as the type of warrant that is used.
Microsoft Corporation Legal Documents Show Biden DOJ Spying on Project Veritas Journalists; Hides it from Federal Court Judge
Microsoft Corporation legal documents obtained by Project Veritas show that after a U.S. District Court Judge rejected the DOJ’s argument to ignore Project Veritas’ “journalistic privileges,” the DOJ went behind the judge’s back to obtain an extension on two sealed non-disclosure orders from a magistrate judge to conceal the fact they already had unsupervised and unfettered access to privileged emails and contacts of eight Project Veritas journalists.
Judge Torres had ruled that prosecutors must operate under the supervision of a Special Master to ensure first amendment protections are upheld for Project Veritas journalists and their source material.
These documents reveal that the government not only ignored that order, but also attempted to hide the fact they had obtained emails for time periods far outside the scope of the investigation.
A overreach of authority that has harmed journalists has lead to this conflict of interest now being exposed by Project Veritas. The government is claiming they needed warrants that are over 8 months prior to the Diary they claim was stolen from Ashley Biden.

Back when I was self publishing, Microsoft changed their user agreement to allow them to terminate ones use of their products for a multitude of reasons, including speech.
I knew then the only way they would be able to know if I violated any of their woke, vaguely defined definitions would be if they were in fact scanning every use I had of their product, which also led me to believe based on the push for spying on all of us that they were archiving every use as well for future use.
