Excerpt from Epoch Times editorial author Bobbie Anne Cox originally published on author's sub-stack :Brownstone Institute
"If politicians don't uphold the Constitution, then it becomes useless. If people don't require the politicians to follow the Constitution, it's useless.
The Constitution must be upheld. Public servants are supposed to swear an oath to uphold the Constitution when they take office. Ask yourself this: Are my representatives (state & federal), upholding the Constitution? Or are they violating my rights and freedoms, and making my life more difficult and less pleasurable?"
One of the new realities is that many elected officials no longer believe in God, justice and honor, so why would they even care to follow their "oath"? You have the responsibility to stand up, research, and defend your rights. These rights also include the unborn, when does life begin? When does euthanasia become the way to eliminate the old? And when does a human being enter one and exit the other? When do your representatives have an obligation to serve you instead of their own personal need? Do we have a hope of ever having freedom and peace in the world that exists only for money and power?
Is prayer enough?
