Me: If you want to suppress the power of the colonizers, then why not push for no taxation? After all, the indigenous tribes had no real concept of "taxes", and the idea of "money" was insigficant if it existed at all in some tribes. The colonizers brought "taxation" to the colonies and subjugated the natives under these laws of extortion, therefore, taxation is a relic of colonialism.
