While the media and talking heads continue to waste their breath gossiping about Paul’s personal medical decisions, the senator is demonstrating what a truly free market health care system could look like.
While people are of course free to approve or disapprove of Rand Paul's politics, those that are accusing him of hypocrisy because he went to a private hospital in Canada are either incredibly stupid or think everybody else is. Despite the national healthcare system in Canada, there are still private hospitals and using one isn't anti free-market. Quite the opposite. Do critics in this case think he somehow gets free socialized healthcare by going to Canada for treatment? That's not how any of this works. No wonder our healthcare system is going down the drain. It's direction is being determined by people who apparently don't even understand what a free market is.
