The only serious article devoted to Żmurko recently was written by Dariusz Konstantynów and is available online. Its author devotes a large paragraph to one of the studios of Żmurko in Warsaw situated at Senatorska 22 (today at this address is a modernist block from 1960s famous as a location of a Polish tv series „Wojna domowa”). Artists' studios were also their galleries and private museums. Artist's tools occupied smaller part of the whole space which resembled elegant interior rather than a workshop. This certainly helped to sell paintings for higher prices.
