Flower

I searched and didn’t see
I waited until he found me
I listened until he asked me
Eagerly I took the ring
Finally it was like a dream
Patiently I stood by him
In a flash invitations were sent
Bells tolled loudly
There he stood while I walked the aisle slowly,
and for once I wasn’t in a hurry,
my white gown
couldn’t let me.
