Let's go, we'll stay at home

in poem •  3 years ago

As awkward as you are, you are close to my city

People are not obeying anymore, they are walking around laughing

Lockdown is announced worldwide

Where people are listening, sitting in the corner of the neighborhood

You and I sit alone, silent in the corner of the room

Seeing people smiling, everyone is returning to the market

In the throes of corona, death is happening all around

Rising prices of things, pull yours into my pocket

The administration is trying, fighting all situations

Let's go, we'll stay at home

Buy-cut entertainment, if you survive, will be later

People in my country are no longer concerned about the virus. They walk without masks, they get in the bus without masks, they laugh, they sneeze and they cough freely, without any respect for the others. There is no conscience at all.
Greetings!
