"Beyond What Our Eyes Can See"

You don't even need to open your eyes to appreciate nature
It's already everywhere and it's already here

You just need to feel its presence…
Through the warmth of the sun…
The flow of air through your skin…
The smell of grass in the morning.

I can feel the warmth
I can feel the air
I can feel the moistness
I can feel it through my chest

I see you floating through the air
I feel your simple beat
I hear your heart the moment my eyes open
You are always with me

When I'm cold, you kiss me clear through
When I'm sad, you fill my lungs with air
Is your presence always here?
The more and more I felt that the way too deeply

Are we supposed to explore the world around us?
Or just be grateful we have it, without having to look too far to find it?
We feel the world around us

The stars are beaming stardust
Draped across the sun
As the clouds drift by overhead
You know, what I long to see

Through the snap of the leaves
We can ease the mountain tops of our fear
Our bodies are abuzz as we feel life approaching
And the earth breaks with fresh new ink

We exchange a glance
A smile and then things fall right into place
In these moments, the earth's moving statue
And we don't even need to open our eyes.
