Papaya planting is so rewarding especially when you are about to harvest its fruits. After a week of being away in the house, this is what surprised me. My papaya plant now is bearing almost ripe fruits. In a week's time, it is now ready for harvest. This is my fifth tree just planted around the house. It so satisfying because we don't need to buy papaya fruit in the market instead we just need to pick the ripe ones. This is same variety as the previous papaya fruits that I planted and its fruits is sweet and delicious. You can eat it plain or with milk but I like it better with milk and I like it best when it is made into shake.
Reminder, don't just put the seeds of any fruits in the trash can instead if you have an empty space around the house, you can sow them just like what I did.
