Unique Plant

Hi Friends,

I was on a bike ride with my kids and we came across this strange looking plant thing (maybe you can call this a tree??? who knows!):

I have never seen anything like this and wondered if they had to do something special to it to get to grow like that or if it is how the plan grows. We stopped to take a picture and admire it - they probably get that a lot given how unique it is!

Have you seen anything like this before? Do you know what this plant might be called?

Fun times and a nice bike ride!

Have a great day,
Brian

That's a blooming Agave Attenuata. After it blooms it's gonna die. I've got tons of them growing in my yard. The nice thing about them is that they need very little maintenance.
