Some of my photos are very precious to me, as they capture such lovely memories of special places in the World that I have visited on Holiday. The picture (below) shows the black gates at the entrance of the famous "Cairo Museum" in Egypt. This image is special for two reasons: Firstly, because my Mum took me to visit the Tutankhamun Exhibition at the British Museum (London) in 1973 when I was very young.
So to visit the Cairo Museum (for the second time) was exciting to finally see all of the exhibits that were not taken to London. A special room (closely guarded) shows all the precious Gold artifacts (all having priceless monetary value). The "Death Mask" of King Tutankhamun in particular is quite spectacular to see close up! No photography was allowed inside the Museum (sadly).
