The "County of Surrey", in England is home to some beautiful parks and gardens that are well known for their colorful displays of Spring flowers. Here are a brief descriptions of some of the best places to observe Spring flowers in Surrey.
- RHS Garden Wisley:
This 240-acre garden is home to one of the largest plant collections in the world. In spring, you can see a stunning display of daffodils, bluebells, and tulips.
- Painshill Park:
This 18th-century landscaped garden features a range of exotic plants, including magnolias, rhododendrons, and azaleas. The park also has a large lake that reflects the spring colors.
- Claremont Landscape Garden:
This National Trust garden is famous for its spring displays of crocuses, daffodils, and cherry blossoms. The garden also has a beautiful lake and a grass amphitheater.
- Polesden Lacey:
This National Trust property features a beautiful walled garden that is bursting with spring color. You can see a range of bulbs, including tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths.
These are just a few of the best places (listed above) to see spring flowers in Surrey. There are many other parks, gardens, and woodland areas that are worth exploring during the spring season.
I have visited many of these amazing English gardens over several years of living in Surrey. The photos (below) that I'm sharing with you Today were mostly taken at "Winkworth Arboretum" and "Box Hill" (both of these public gardens are owned by the English "National Trust".)
