Yesterday I posted about the "Mini Car" special event at Brooklands. Today I would like to share more photos and a little background history of the many other vehicles housed there.
The Brooklands Motor Museum, located in Weybridge, Surrey, England, is a museum dedicated to the history of British motorsport. The main Museum building is a must see destination for anyone interested in British motorsport. Inside the museum is a vast collection of vintage cars, motorcycles, and other rare vehicles. This is a most impressive collection and gives a unique insight into the evolution of motorsport over many years.
One of the most notable vehicles on display at the museum is the 1908 Itala, which was one of the first cars to complete the famous Peking to Paris rally in 1907. The Itala is a beautiful car with a four-cylinder engine that produces 35 horsepower, and it is considered one of the most famous cars in Motorsport.
Another car that draws much attention in the museum is the 1923 Bentley 3 Litre, which is one of the most iconic British sports cars of all time. The Bentley 3 Litre is a beautiful car with a six-cylinder engine that produces 70 horsepower. Which is considered to be one of the most significant cars in the history of British motorsport.
Also on display is a large collection of motorcycles, including the 1914 Indian motorcycle, which was one of the most popular motorcycles of its time. The Indian motorcycle is a beautiful motorbike with a V-twin engine that produces 7 horsepower, and it is considered one of the greatest motorcycles in the history of motorcycling.
The museum also features a large collection of cars and motorcycles from the famous British car manufacturer, Morgan. The Morgan Motor Company was founded in 1909 and is still producing beautiful cars and motorcycles to this day. The museum features several vintage Morgan cars, including the 1927 Morgan Aero and the 1958 Morgan Plus 4.
While visiting there I took many photos, but I'm not a car expert, so my knowledge is limited on the names. Also at the end of this post are two photos of an impressive LEGO built car. The photos are life size (full size) and really quite amazing to see!
So here you go... 👀
