Early this morning I woke to the smell of burning! So I went outside into our back garden to investigate the source of the smell. I immediately noticed that the sky looked strange, with very dark areas that were similar to smog. While other parts of the sky were red and grey in colour.
I took the photo (below) and went back indoors to Google local news for any information for the cause of this weirdness. From what I could find out earlier, it was a Woodland Fire at "Bisley Ranges" in Surrey, England. The fire apparently started last night, and Firefighters have been working most of the night to extinguish the blaze.
Quite a major fire incident for my local area of Surrey, UK
