Barter With Tunisian "Shop Owners" For Some Amazing Bargains!

in phototalent •  2 years ago

What I find most interesting about the photo (below) is just how many western tourists visit the old towns of Tunisia. In all my time spent touring there, I found the Tunisian people to be warm, friendly and most helpful to us. Many of the traditional shops operate a simple "Bartering System" that can be hard for English people to adapt to, but if you treat it as fun then you can get some amazing bargains.

None of the people in this picture are related to me! I just wanted to capture some natural Tunisian culture with a beautiful stone building in the background. I forget the name of the stone Tower, but there are steps you can climb to the top if you are feeling brave. The views from up there is breathtaking! However, many of the stone steps are damaged though, so do take care...

So here you go... 👀
