As in Essex, we paid suicide ponds, also known as the lost ponds, or even Baldwin’s pond as the official name a visit. This is a well-known haunted spot in Epping Forest. The Legend begins from a young couple 300 years ago, where the father discover their relationship and killed his daughter in a fit of rage, and her partner committed suicide in this pond. Ever, since there have been many deaths and suicides in the same pond, apparently there was even a young boy found there just a year ago, face down in the water. It is said that the pond calls you into her waters. I actually thought the spot was incredibly beautiful, but maybe that’s its allure.

I also checked out the nearby hangman’s hill where cars roll uphill by themselves
