Glastonbury Tor

Glastonbury is one of my favourite go to places in the Uk. I’m sure I’ve posted it numerous times now as go so often. It’s a whole community of spiritual shops, crystals, vegan cafes and book shops. You can’t leave without climbing the tor. Legend connects it to King Arthur and guenviere and the entrance to inner earth.

It’s quite a climb but you get these breathtaking views as you go.

This little hill you can see in the distance is the
Womb of Glastonbury whilst the tor is the heart. I can’t find the name of it, you tend to learn a lot of insights speaking to well versed locals.

The tor itself was built in honour of King Arthur, they say that he was buried in Glastonbury abbey. The people who own the tor sold the rights of use to the national trust on the condition it is always free for people to climb and look around and it is not fenced, not charged for admission in which, case they will take the site back.
