Original photo, no filter. The photo you see here was taken a few months ago in the middle of June. The weather was much nicer back then, plants like these were of abundance but now they are few and far between. The winds have made their way to my area, whipping all the plants around making them lose their beauty. Stripping them of their outer protection thus exposing them to the bad weather, getting closer to hibernation each day that passes. I like pulling up old photos that I haven't posted to my blog, especially when we're dealing with the seasonal transition. As I sit here and it rains outside, I'm able to recreate the memories I had just a few short months ago by looking at photo, a moment stuck in time. Pretty much one of the best things about photography, capturing what's happening in the moment and then being able to revisit the image later on in life, recreating those feelings.
